We are delighted to announce the winners of our 2015 architecture competition for Doncaster primary schools. Once again, Doncaster Civic Trust have worked with Sheffield School of Architecture to host this competition. Last November, masters students from the university worked with schools to help them think about architecture and how they could design exciting new buildings and structures for our competition.
First – Stirling Primary School – winners of the Eric Braim Prize worth £500 for their exciting design for a new arena in the town centre.
Second – Woodfield Primary School – win £250 for their innovative designs for an obstacle course to improve fitness at the school.
Joint Third – Hexthorpe Primary School – win £100 for their designs for a market to serve Hexthorpe.
Joint Third – Copley Junior School – win £100 for their designs for a multi-purpose observation and activities tower at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
Congratulations to all the schools which took part in our competition and special thanks to all of the students from Sheffield.
