Doncaster Civic Trust

An independent group of local people interested in Doncaster’s heritage

Built Environment Careers Guidance

At the Trust, we want to help young people get better acquainted with the architecture and urban design of Doncaster. We have already produced some interesting built environment education initiatives for our schools, such as the Doncaster Toolkit and our annual architecture competition for primary schools.

And our bursary scheme helps Doncaster students pay their university fees when they study built environment subjects.

Now, to help aspiring students choose the right career we are pleased to launch four guides which set out the pathways into careers in architecture, urban design, town planning and landscape architecture.

These informative guides produced by the University of Sheffield for the Trust can be read online, downloaded as hard copies or downloaded to be printed in larger format for careers exhibitions.

Simply click on the guide that interests you to find out about exciting career options.
